Carers of West Lothian is a charity that provides support and information for carers, recently I was asked to help migrate a Microsoft Access database used for keeping information about local carers to an Intranet website based solution.

This provided a much needed usability improvement over the previous Access database, and in addition overcoming a major operational headache for the charity as the new solution allows multiple users to add to/use the database simultaneously.
